This year, for the first time, we invited you to Krakow for a two-day event. During this time you had a chance to see dozen or so lectures, participate in three workshops given by international experts and have fun at the after party.
We would like to thank more than 350 attendees for coming, all of our great speakers, our media partners and sponsors. Special thanks to the members of the Program Committee for helping us choose the best lectures.
All slides will be available on our web page this week.
Thank you very much and see you next year at JDD11 or at 4Developers that we’re planning for this Spring.
Due to reasons beyond our control we had to modify the JDD program. Updated version can be found here. The most important change is the beginning time of the event. We will start the conference on Thursday at 9:30 am. The registration desk will be open from 8:00 am. and as soon as you register you are welcome to try our breakfast buffet. On Friday we will start the lectures and workshops at 9:15 am. and from 8:45 am. we invite you to the venue for breakfast.
Today we will send the Conference Guide to all registered attendees. It will be sent to the e-mail address given in the registration form. The Guide includes the most important information about JDD: how to get to the venue, parking space, contests, workshops and the conference party. You can also download the Guide here (sorry, only the Polish version is available).
We are sorry for the changes and we are looking forward to seeing you at JDD!
Please, take a look at the updated JDD schedule. We have made a few improvements. First of all, we postponed the beginning of the event to make sure that all attendees travelling to JDD from outside Krakow will be at the venue on time for the first lecture. We have also prolonged the workshops to give you more time for questions. You can find the newest program here.
We have already posted information about workshops, which will be held during the second day of the JDD conference. You can find details and registration forms on http://10.jdd.org.pl/warsztaty webpage. These workshops are a part of the conference, thus are free for conference attendees. However, there is a limit of 25 participants per workshop. Registration will begin on thursday, September 23rd at 17:00.
We invite JDD attendees to participate in workshops that will take place during the second day of the conference from 10:00 until 12:50. In this time slot we will host three parallel trainings. We already know that Linda Rising will give the first one and Ted Neward the second (the name of the third trainer will be announced shortly). Participating in workshop is free for JDD attendees, but there is a 25 people per room limit. In the beginning of September we will open separate registration for trainings, the fastest people to register will have a reserved spot. In any questionable situations (e.g. full class), we will decide who can participate by checking the date of registration for JDD.

JDD has been creating and Java community in Poland for 5 years and this year we will celebrate its 5th birthday. Due to this occasion we have prepared a few surprises for our attendees. First of all, JDD 2010 will last two days! Why? Because we want to have more great, current lectures, more excellent speakers from all around the world and more time to ask questions, discuss new developments and share our opinions. Last but not least, we want to talk about Java in a laid back, relaxed atmosphere during the conference After Party, that will take place after the first day of JDD. JDD is changing, but the core of the event stays the same: the best speakers, interesting, up to date presentations and latest Java novelties.
We invite all Java Developers, Software Architects and Engineers, IT Specialists, IT Directors for JDD 2010 in Krakow, on October 7th-8th.
